The Tins’ Kickstarter Benefit Show

The Tins - Benefit Show

The Tins will be hosting  a free show tonight at the Mohawk Place with other local acts

Adam, Mike, and Dave of local indie rock trio The Tins invite you to join them for a completely free show tonight at Buffalo’s own Mohawk Place. Joining the guys will be The Soft Love, Parade Chic, The Waves, Sharon Mok (of Tiny Rhymes), The Mustn’ts, and Brimstone Blondes along with a special surprise guest DJ set. If a free show wasn’t enough to entice you, supplementing the jams will be chair massages, caricatures, and a basket raffle, along with food provided by Ashker’s Juice Bar, La Nova Pizza, and Paula’s Donuts. Everything will be provided for free. What’s the catch? The band is currently working on a few projects and are raising money through Kickstarter to help finish the process. The trio are planning on releasing their second studio album that’s being produced by Robby Takac (of the Goo Goo Dolls) along with filming a documentary that will accompany it. Up for grabs as rewards for pledging are advanced downloads of the new album and documentary, autographed CDs, a limited edition signed poster for The Tins created by artist Philip Burke, and much more. All funds obtained during the fundraiser will go towards the cost of finishing both projects. With 23 days left in their campaign the band is already more than one-third of the way to their minimum goal amount, but celebrating with the guys early with a completely free show is a perk all on its own. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the party will last all night long.
